By accessing or using Beaconly at beaconly.orygn.tech ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service.
The Service is operated by Orygn LLC ("Orygn," "we," "us," "our"), a Texas limited liability company.
2. Description of Service
Beaconly is a free web audit tool that fetches publicly accessible content from a URL you provide and returns an audit report covering AI crawler permissions, structured data configuration, and page signals. No account or payment is required. The Service is provided as a convenience and carries no guarantee of fitness for any particular purpose.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Submit URLs for domains you do not own or have explicit authorization to audit
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other technical measures
- Use the Service for automated or bulk scanning beyond ordinary interactive use
- Use the Service to probe, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any website, server, or network
- Use audit results to make false or misleading claims about a website you do not control
- Submit malicious, harmful, or unlawful content through any input field
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party
We may restrict or block access to protect the Service, our systems, or other users.
4. URL Submissions and Third-Party Content
When you submit a URL, you direct us to fetch publicly accessible content from that domain, including files such as robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemaps, and the page source. By submitting a URL, you represent that you are authorized to request this analysis.
The Service accesses only content that is publicly available at the submitted URL. It does not attempt to access restricted, authenticated, or private resources. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of any third-party website accessed at your direction. Fetching content from a URL does not constitute our endorsement of that website or its content.
Third-party services used to operate the Service may have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of the Service may involve those services, and their terms govern their respective roles.
5. Audit Results and Accuracy
Audit results are informational only. They reflect the state of publicly accessible content at the submitted URL at the time of the audit. Results are subject to the inherent limitations of automated analysis, including server-side rendering, geographic content variation, caching, and third-party resource availability. A passing result does not guarantee that AI crawlers will access, index, or cite the audited site. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional, legal, or technical advice.
6. Service Availability
The Service is provided free of charge with no commitment to uptime, availability, or continuity. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time and without notice or liability to you.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ORYGN LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ORYGN LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS (USD $0.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orygn LLC, its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including any URL you submit, any content you access or obtain through the Service, or any use of the Service other than as expressly authorized by these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
The Beaconly name, branding, design, audit methodology, and all site content are the property of Orygn LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
Audit reports generated for URLs you own or control are yours to use freely.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant Orygn LLC the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Force Majeure
Orygn LLC shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, fire, flood, natural disaster, internet or infrastructure outages, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it will be severed. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Orygn LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties regarding the Service.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from your use of the Service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
